It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any mental health or medical condition.
What Life Coaching Is
Life coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to help you:
- Gain clarity on your goals and values
- Overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs
- Create actionable plans for personal or professional growth
- Build confidence and accountability
- Navigate transitions and make decisions aligned with your vision
Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you identify what you want and supporting you in achieving it.
What Life Coaching Is Not
Life coaching is NOT:
- Therapy or Counseling: I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or counselor
- Medical Treatment: Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition
- Crisis Intervention: Coaching is not appropriate for mental health emergencies
- Legal, Financial, or Career Advice: While we may discuss these areas, I do not provide professional advice in these fields
When to Seek Other Professional Help
Please seek appropriate professional support if you are experiencing:
- Mental health conditions (depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, etc.)
- Substance abuse or addiction
- Eating disorders
- Severe trauma
- Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
- Domestic violence or abuse

Client Responsibility
As a coaching client, you are responsible for:
- Your own choices, actions, and decisions
- Implementing strategies and action steps discussed in sessions
- Informing me if coaching is not meeting your needs
- Seeking other professional help when appropriate
Confidentiality Limitations
While coaching conversations are confidential, there are legal and ethical limits:
- I am required to report if there is risk of harm to yourself or others
- I may be required to disclose information if mandated by law
- Confidentiality does not apply in cases involving abuse or neglect of vulnerable individuals
Professional Ethics
I adhere to professional coaching ethics, which include:
- Maintaining client confidentiality (within legal limits)
- Acting in your best interest
- Recognizing the limits of my expertise
- Referring you to other professionals when appropriate
